Amy L. Snell, 48, of Marion, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Marion Health. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Monday, June 24, 1974, to David Snell and Marta (Dwyer) Johnson.
Amy graduated from Marion High School in 1992 and was a chart analyst for over ten years with Loma Linda Medical Center of Loma Linda, California. She loved music and had attended many concerts throughout her lifetime. She was a beloved fan of the bands U2, Duran Duran, and Sting. She collected Game of Thrones, Tim Burton, and Hello Kitty memorabilia.
She is survived by her mother, Marta L. Johnson of Marion; sister, Katie Cordell of Marion; step-brother, David (Lisa) Johnson of Lombard, IL; step-sister, Susan Johnson of Tacoma, WA; nephews, Ethan (fiancée, Taylor Gillespie) Cordell, Lennon Cordell, Jake Johnson, and Ryan Johnson; grandmother, Barbara F. Dwyer of Madison; several aunts, one uncle, many cousins; and her Loma Linda Medical Center work family.
She was preceded in death by her father, David F. Snell; step-father, Gary R. Johnson; maternal grandfather, John R. Dwyer; paternal grandfather, Clement V. Snell; and paternal grandmother, Madeline R. Snell.
At Amy’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. There will be a private family celebration at a later date.
