Allie G. Pulliam

Allie G. Pulliam, 79, Marion, received his eternal reward at 9:50 a.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018, in his home.  He was born in Houston, Mississippi, on January 19, 1939, to the late Willie G. and Phoebe (Kilgore) Pulliam.

Allie was a machine operator at Gen Corp and retired after over 40 years of service.  He was a real car enthusiast and especially liked the Buicks he owned over the years.  He liked to travel, and he loved talking to everyone he met throughout his life.  He never met a stranger.

He is survived by his son, Darryl A. Fields, Warsaw; sisters, Willa Maxwell and Frances (Willie) Rupert; nephews, Keith Rupert and Claude Maxwell; niece, Patricia Clemons; and several more nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with Allie’s funeral service beginning at 12 noon on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, where Allie was a member.  Pastor C.L. Adams will be officiating and burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park.
