James D. Miller, 56, Marion, passed away at 6:31 pm on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Marion Health in Marion. He was born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, on Sunday, May 7, 1967, to Larry and Lucy (Williams) Miller.
James graduated from Marion High School 1985. He worked as a Pipe Organ technician with Reynolds and Company LLC. He was a member of Arbor Trace Golf Club. He loved to golf, fish and work in the yard. He was a hard worker and loved his family. He had a very big heart.
Survivors include his mother, Lucy Joann Miller of Marion; sister, DeeAnna (Jose Mendez) Miller of Marion; nephews, Carrington Gupte, Mason Gupte; niece, Gabrielle Gupte; and great nephew, Tai James Gupte.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry D. Miller.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St, Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate James’ life will begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
