Yvonne (Fay) Spohn passed away Sunday October, 23 2016 at the age of 74 after a battle with cancer. Fay was born on June 6, 1942 in Alvin, Wisconsin to Ray and Eva (Donathan) Stapleton.

Fay was a strong woman of faith and a member of First Assembly of God in Peru, Indiana. Fay worked many years as a Home Health Aide. Fay was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who touched the lives of many with her unwavering generosity. She was always looking for a need that she could meet. She always thought of others before herself and cherished every member of her family. She greatly enjoyed her summer/fall at her vacation home in Alvin, Wisconsin. Fay spent many hours watching wildlife and going to yard sales and thrift stores.

Fay is survived by husband Clarence Richard (Dick) Spohn.  Also, children: Tammy (Bradburn) Wolfe and husband Reggie of Peru, Sherry (Bradburn) Callahan and husband Rick of Richmond, Perry Bradhum of Peru, Tony Spohn and wife Tammy of Peru and Tracey (Spohn) Jones of Peru.  Also, grandchildren: Adam Wolfe and wife Amber, Aleana (Wolfe) Hawley and husband Chris, Craig Richardson and wife Miranda, Tyler Richardson, Chelsey Jones, Jake Jones, Isabella Jones, Nick Callahan, Hunter Callahan, and Josh Spohn.  Also, great-grandchildren: Kara and Benjamin Wolfe, Liam and January Hawley and Caylee Richardson.  Also, brothers: Perry Stapleton and wife Linda, Jim Stapleton and wife Audrey, Larry Stapleton and wife Jerri. Along with sister-in-law Loretta Stapleton and Penny Stapleton. Also, many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Eva Stapleton, parent in-laws Edward and Louise Spohn, two brothers Earl and Robert (Bob) Stapleton, her sister Carolyn (Betty) Meadows, her granddaughter Hillary Richardson and niece Kristy (Stapleton) Nutt.

Visitation and funeral will be held at Peru First Assembly of God at 365 Monroe Ave., Peru, Indiana on Saturday October 29, 2016. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 1 PM, with funeral services beginning at 1 PM immediately following the visitation, with Pastors Kevin Palmer, J. Litherland and Steve Ruskus officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana.
