Willidean D. Peterson, 86, passed away on June 26, 2017 in Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana. She was born on November 3, 1930 to the late Darll and Dorothy (Reunnaker) Snyder.
Willidean was a 1948 graduate of Converse High School. She worked for a dental office before pursuing a career at RCA. She retired from RCA in 1992. Willidean enjoyed spending her free time crocheting, working outside in the yard, gardening and working with flowers.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Carol) Peterson, Kokomo; Linda (Ray) Mughmaw, Van Buren, Indiana; Larry (Kim McKee) Wortman, Marion, Indiana; sister, Betty Mitchell, Marion, Indiana; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. A special thank you to Marion General Hospital and Marion Rehabilitation Center for their comfort and care.
Willidean is also preceded in death by her daughter, April Peterson; brothers, Ronald Snyder and James Hewitt.
A graveside service will be held on July 6, 2017 at 11 am in the Converse Cemetery, 8896 West Mier 27, Converse, Indiana. Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Larrison-Martin Chapel, 308 East Marion Street, Converse, Indiana 46919 was entrusted with making arrangements.
