Terry Rockowski, 61 of rural Huntington passed away at 6:25 am at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Terry was a 1975 graduate of St. Mary’s Cathedral High School in Saginaw, Michigan. He had worked at General Motors in Saginaw, Michigan starting in 1977 and then moved to Three Rivers in 1981 and in 1986 he moved to the Fort Wayne GM Assembly Plant. He was a member of UAW Local 2209 and the American Legion Post 85. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, traveling and spending time with his granddaughter.
Terry was born on December 12, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of John and Mary (Lash) Rockowski.
He was united in marriage to Bonnie Pacholke on October 26, 1981 in Saginaw, Michigan.
Survivors include: his wife: Bonnie Rockowski of Huntington; a daughter: Katie (Chris) Colbert of Colorado Springs, CO; a granddaughter: Isabelle Colbert; a sister: Lori (Jim) Lyon of Saginaw, MI; two brothers: Jim (Cheryl) Rockowski of Carson City, WA and Tom (Laura) Rockowski of Destin, FL.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Carol Duby and Cindy Brownson.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
