Peggy Sue Leavitt, 74, died on November 1, 2017. Peggy was born on April 4, 1943 to the late Carl Hardin and Rita (Ernst) Hardin. She graduated from Marion High School. Peggy was very passionate about her job being a group home leader at Carey Services for 13 years. Peggy enjoyed spending her time cooking, and taking care of an acre garden.
Peggy is survived by her son, Paul (April) Leavitt, Fairmount, IN; five brothers Keith, Gary, Steve, Butch, and Dennis Hardin; and two granddaughters, Sierrah and Savannah Leavitt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Jay Hardin.
Arrangements for Peggy have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services Fairmount Chapel, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, Indiana, where a visitation will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
