Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, December 4, 2017 in Mt. Etna Cemetery in Huntington County with Pastor Henry Favorite officiating.

Paul was born on September 5, 1926 in Huntington County, the son of Otto and Eva (Welker) Walton. He graduated from Banquo High School in 1944 and married Claribelle Wardwell on August 7, 1946 in Huntington County. He was a lifetime farmer of Wayne Township. In 2014, after 20 years of service to Wayne Township, Paul retired as the oldest acting trustee Indiana. He was a family man and loved to work on family projects. His family wishes to thank Family Life Care Hospice for their care.
Survivors include his wife of 71 years – Claribelle Walton of Warren; a daughter – Diana Lynn (Bill) Wells of Marion; a brother – Herbert M. Walton of Huntington; a sister-in-law – Mary Emrick of Marion; four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Lester Walton, and a sister, Thelma Shrock.
