Patsy Jean David

Patsy Jean David, 86, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on December 6, 2017.

She was born on December 14, 1930 to William and Elise (Robertson) Long in Howard County.  Patsy graduated from Clay Township School in 1948.  She worked at Dukes Memorial Hospital for 40 years.  She also had worked at Wabash Valley Bank and for Dr. Fred Morrison.  She enjoyed watching her grandchildren playing sports and being around family and friends.  Family and friends were a very important part of her life.  She was also a member of Peoria Church.

Patsy is survived by a brother James (Sharon) Long of Kokomo; sons Mike (Karen) David of Huntington, and Max (Gloria) David of Peru; daughters Cindy (Larry) Nealis of Mexico, Lisa Caldwell, Brenda Hollering (Todd Youngblood), and Trish (Steve) West, all of Peru.  Also, grandchildren: Michelle (Bert) Walczak of Darien, Georgia, Aaron David of Indianapolis, Joshua David of Arizona, Daniel (Marie) David of Peru, Angie (Dave) Wallace of Spencerville, William Caldwell of Indiana, Kristie (Scott) Truex of Denver, Travis (Katie) Caldwell of Peru, Samantha Caldwell (David Dushney) of Ohio, and Lance (Lydia) Potts of Noblesville; as well as seventeen great-grandchildren.  Also, lifelong friends Grace Klein and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband Edwin David, and lifelong friend Mary Jane See.

Visitation will be held from 2pm – 7pm on Monday, December 11, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana.  Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 1pm at the funeral home, with Pastor Bob Clark and Pastor Brian Daniels officiating.  Burial will follow at Peoria Cemetery in Miami County.  Memorial contributions may be made to Peoria Church.
