Nancy R. Miller, 74, Marion, died at 9:25 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2017, in Marion General Hospital. She was born in Marion to the late Frank and Marcelle (West) Isenhour. On May 27, 1960, Nancy married George W. Miller, and he survives.

Nancy had a passion for baking and cooking and used her gift of cake decorating at Vogel’s, where she retired after 15 years. Nancy was a very loving and caring individual, and her family was the most important part of her life. In her leisure time, Nancy enjoyed watching TV shows with Wheel of Fortune being one of her favorites. Nancy was also very fond of Collies.

She will be missed by her husband of 57 years, George; children, Rebecca (Mike) Bridges, Jonesboro, William Miller, Colorado, Lisa (Forest) Johnson, Marion, and Tracy Miller, LaFontaine; sisters, Janet (Fred) Richardson, Jonesboro, Mariam (John) Nelson, Gas City, Debbie (Mike) Finch, Gas City, Anita (Tim) Eckstein, Gas City, and Brenda (Dennis) Wanderlich, Marion; grandchildren, Winter (Chris) Anderson, Sr., Marcella (Jordan) Wine, Amanda Johnson, Forest (Cindy) Johnson, Jr., Ty (Keyli) Miller, and Tiffanie Miller; and great-grandchildren, Savannah Anderson, Desiree Wine, Christopher Anderson, Jr., Peyton Johnson, and Sloane Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Monica Miller; daughter-in-law, Tammy Miller; sister, Mary Ann Summers; and brothers, James Isenhour and John Magers.

The family will receive visitors from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion.

Services to celebrate Nancy’s life will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Dewey Miller and Rev. Clarence Hand officiating. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park.
