Mark A. Brammer, 58, Marion, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2017, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Marion to the late James and Marcella Pauline (Jacks) Brammer.
Mark was a lifetime resident of Marion and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He had worked at Big Lots until he became disabled. Mark enjoyed landscaping, being outdoors, and “picking” with his friend, Ed.
He is survived by his brother, Merrill (Amy) Brammer, Fishers; aunt, Doris Herring, Fort Wayne; cousins, David Herring, Fort Wayne, Kevin Jacks, Noblesville, and Gene Jacks, Colorado; good friends, Tracy (Guy) Mills, Marion, Terrence Haney, Lavon Haney, and Kayden Haney; and his best friend, Butch (dog).
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Mark’s funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Fairmount.
