Lynett D. Thorn, 93 of Huntington passed away at 9:37 pm on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Lynett worked for the Whitelock press in her early years and finished her carerr as a care tacker. She loved jigsaw puzzles and enjoyed gardening.
Lynette was born on November 27, 1922 in Huntington, the daughter of Frederick and Genevieve (Devoe) Stahl.
She was united in marriage to Martin Thorn on Jan 17,1943. Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter: Sherrie (Donnie Patrick) Wilson of Rome City; two sons: Larry and Monte Thorn of Huntington; two grandchildren; Jody Cormany of Andres and Renee Falcone of Willcotville IN.; 8 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a grandson: Cliff Falcone Jr.; 4 brothers: Kennith Stahl, Burdell Stahl, Gilbert Stahl, and Niles Stahl; and 2 sisters: Bernice Thrift and Vera Stetzel.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at 1:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Wally Morris officiating.
Interment will take place at Gardens of Memory
