Lois Mae Brown, 88, of Hartford City, IN, passed away at 3:05 AM on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville, IN.  She was born on Tuesday, April 17, 1928, in Huntington County, IN.  She married Harry D.  Brown on Saturday, April 19, 1952 in Huntington, IN.  Lois attended Chester Center High School. She attended the Bridgeway Evangelical Church in Kendallville. She worked at G.C. Murphy Co in Fort Wayne and also 3M Corp. in Hartford City. She attended Trinity U.M. Church in Hartford City and also had been a girl scout leader. She enjoyed spending time at Witmer Lake, shopping, eating, and spending time with her family.

Loving Survivors Include: Daughters – Kathy Brown  Berry, Hopewell, NJ,  Connie (Jim) Amos, Hudson, IN, Brother – Tom Wamsley, Tucson, AZ, Grandchildren – Blaine (Mandy) Williams, Wolcottville, IN,  Try An (Anthony) Mitzner, LaGrange, IN,  David (Julie) Berry, Baltimore, IN,  Jessica  Berry, Washington, DC,Great Grandchildren- Jonathan Gage Williams, Wolcottville, IN, Harrison Tate Williams, Wolcottville, IN, and LyraRen Mae Mitzner, LaGrange, IN.

She was preceded in death by her Father – Everett K. Wamsley, Mother – V. Catherine (White) Wamsley,Husband – Harry D. Brown, Brothers – Dean Wamsley,  Bobby Wamsley, Sisters – Betty Stuky, andPhyllis Dunwiddie.

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Glancy – H. Brown & Son Funeral Home 203 N Matilda St. Warren on Saturday, April 01, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and also from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, April 2, 2017.

A service to celebrate her life will be at Glancy – H. Brown & Son Funeral Home at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 02, 2017 with  Jeff Wolheter  officiating.  Interment will follow in the Van Buren Cemetery in Van Buren.

Preferred memorials:  Bridgeway Evangelical Church    Kendalville    IN
