Lois was born in Marion, Indiana on October 10, 1932 to the late Paul F. and Mary F. (Whirl) Cole. She passed away on February 22, 2017 in Colonial Oaks Health and Rehab, Marion.
Lois spent most of her lifetime in Grant County. She graduated from Marion High School in 1950. On June 16, 1955, Lois married Joseph L. Wayman. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2001. She was a full time homemaker and extremely devoted to her family and church. Lois attended Eastgate Community Church participating with the Mission Board, and Worship Singers. She also took part in helping with the Joseph Warehouse Committee. Most of all, Lois loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildern.
Lois is survived by her children, David Wayman; Stephen (Jennifer) Wayman, both of Marion; Robert (Darlene) Wayman, Lafayette; grandchildren, Joshua (Ginny) Richardson, Ohio; Damon (Mary) Richardson, Nathaniel (Audrey) Wayman, Matthew Wayman, Marion; Stephanie (Jamey) Booher, Roanoke; Caleb Wayman, Lafayette.
She is also preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Richardson and brother, Richard Cole.
Visitation will be held from 4-8pm, Friday, February 24, 2017 at Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Marion Chapel, 2722 South Washington Street, Marion, Indiana.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am, Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Eastgate Community Church, 825 South Pennsylvania Street, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Steve Houser officiating.
Burial will immediately follow at Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
