Kenneth R. Pratt, 77, North Manchester, Indiana passed away at 3:47 a.m. on December 28, 2016 at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Kenneth was born on January 7, 1939 in Wabash, Indiana to Walter and Mary (Lewis) Pratt. On April 18, 1959 he married Ann Keaffaber. She passed away on December 28, 2006. Kenneth worked as a floor covering installer for 54 years. He also raised chickens for Strauss for 45 years and received the Grower of the Year award in 1991. Not only was Kenneth a hard worker, but he also made time for his kids and grandchildren by actively being involved in their 4-H projects for 36 years. Kenneth was a former member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren, Winona Lake, Indiana. Kenneth is survived by two sons Kim (Marcy) Pratt, North Manchester and Kevin (Katie) Pratt, Denver, Indiana; one daughter Krista Pratt, Indianapolis; two brothers Vernon (Maxine) Pratt, Wabash and Herbert Pratt, Bluefield, West Virginia; two sisters Marilyn (Max) Benson, Princeton, West Virginia and Janice (Gerritt) Brakkee, Henderson, Nevada; and six grandchildren. Family and friends my call Monday, January 2, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the start of the service at McKee Mortuary, 1401 State Road 114 West, North Manchester, Indiana. Services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.at McKee Mortuary. Pastor Ron Burns and Pastor Max Benson will officiate.
