John C. Taylor, 84, Marion, died at 11:42 p.m. at Parkview North in Fort Wayne on Sunday, December 4, 2016. He was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, to the late John and Myrtle Taylor and married Thelma Pendleton, who survives.
John was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retired from Fisher Body after 31 years of service as a die setter. He loved the outdoors and his favorite dog, Otis. John attended First Baptist Church in Marion.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma, and siblings, Frank Taylor, Illinois, and Ethel Cottrell, Louisville, Kentucky.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery.
