Janet L. Jones, 87, of Van Buren, IN, passed away at 1:35 PM on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marion, IN. She was born on Friday, October 24, 1930, in Marion, IN. She married Charles F. Jones on Thursday, September 22, 1949 in Marion, IN; he passed away on March 3, 2014. Janet loved shopping, going out to eat and camping with her husband. She enjoyed going uptown in Van Buren for hot tea and breakfast. She formerly worked at the Appliance Manufacturing in Van Buren and enjoyed babysitting. Janet will be greatly missed by her family.

Etna, IN, Linda Bulter, Marion, IN and Venita Hayes, Marion, IN.
She was preceded in death by her: Mother – Ruth Mae (Whitesell) Covey, Father – Kenneth E. Covey and Husband – Charles F. Jones.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Ferguson & Glancy Funeral Home 201 N Main Street Van Buren on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 19, 2018 with Pastor Chuck McCallum officiating. Interment will follow beside her husband in the Gardens of Memory in rural Marion.
