James A.”Jim” Maine, 53, of Marion, Indiana died Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Marion General Hospital after a brief illness.
Jim was born on October 10, 1963 in Marion, Indiana, son of the late Edward Maine and Shirley Faye (Bright) Maine. He graduated from Madison-Grant High School in 1982. James loved sports, fishing, watching western movies and anything to do with the Civil War.
Jim is survived by 5 brothers; Tim(Terri) Maine, Slidell, LA, Greg (Chris) Maine, Rotonda West, FL, Kerry (Kathy) Maine, Fairmount, IN, Dan (Sandy) Maine, Westfield, IN, and Andy (Heidi) Maine, Gas City, IN, and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where there will be a visitation on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 12-2 PM. A graveside service will follow at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana with Pastor Jeffrey McNutt officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Grant County in care of the funeral home.
