Jacob Paul Campbell, 37, of Peru, Indiana was called home on March 11, 2017.

Jacob was born in Phoenix, Arizona and became his mother’s whole world on July 15, 1980.

While in high school, Jacob started working at Kroger and worked there for approximately five years.  He also worked security and was a bio 911 officer for Trinity in Indianapolis.  Currently, he was studying at Ivy Tech in Kokomo to become a firefighter.

Jacob is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Campbell, his father Bobby Springer, and daughter DaNielle Campbell.  Also, cousins David Campbell, Desiree Campbell, and Megan Campbell.  Sisters Mandy Fitzpatrick and Heather Crane; and brother Joshua Hartleroad – as well as many, many online brothers.

He was preceded in death by his step-father, William Roark, and spiritual adopted mother, Brenda Hartleroad; uncles David Campbell and Jerry Campbell; and grandparents Albert and Joan Ann Berenschot.

Visitation will be held at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 11am – 2pm.  Funeral service will follow at 2pm, with Pastor Bill Sheets officiating.  Burial will be at the Reyburn Cemetery.
