Jack L. Jacoby, 90 of Huntington passed away at 4:20 pm on Friday, June 24, 2016 at his residence. Jack served his country in the United States Army during WWII and received many prestigious awards. He worked at General Tire and Rockwell Engineering in Wabash before becoming a Certified Medical Aid. Jack loved doing jigsaw puzzles and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping.

Jack was born on September 22, 1925 in Wabash IN, the son of Robert and Elsie (Eakin) Jacoby. His parents preceded him in death.

Jack was united in marriage to Mildred Ridenour on Oct. 12, 1946 in Wabash, IN. His wife survives

Additional survivors include two grandsons: Scott Jacoby of Colorado, and Josh Jacoby of Huntington; a granddaughter: Bethany Biddle of North Carolina; and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son Allen Jacoby and a granddaughter Kimberly Jacoby

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 12:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Mark Hoffer officiating.

Interment will take place at The Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Marion.
