Dolores “Dee” J. Colen, 85, Marion, died at 3:50 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2016, at Rolling Meadows Health Care Center in LaFontaine. She was born in Garrett, Indiana, to the late Jacob and Mary (Cartwright) Luttman.
Dee was a nurse at Dr. Recometa’s office, from where she retired, and she previously worked at Davis Clinic in Marion. She was an avid IU basketball and Marion Giants fan.
Loved ones who survive include her daughter, Jamie (Dave) Butler, LaFontaine; son, Jim (Karen) Somers, Fort Wayne; sister, Sandra (Dave) Jones, Freemont; grandchildren, Heather, Kimberly, Brant, and Michael; great-grandchildren, Khloe, Zain, Zeke, and Zach; and step-daughter, Pam (Steve) Paxon, Roanoke.
Dee’s husband, William T. Colen, and her son, Scott Somers, preceded her in death.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, graveside services will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016, at Gardens of Memory.
