Deborah Lynn Long passed away June 13, 2016. She was born on December 18, 1955 to Paul Edward Gross and Shirley Jean (Bruce) Gross. She married Michael Lynn Long on February 23, 1974. They had four children: Autumn, (Deryll), Tague, Troy (Jackie) Long, Nicole Knight, and Sarah (Clayton) Shearer. She leaves behind twelve grandchildren, who were the light of her life: Caleb, Makayla, Gloria Rose, Rachel, and Amelia Tague, Eric, Adrianna, and Emma Knight, Isaac and Joshua Long, Seth Spry, and Gates Shearer. She was a member of the First Church of Christ. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, quilting, gardening, and listening to birds. She also enjoyed calling and encouraging her friends.
Visitation will be Thursday June 16, 2016 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at First Church of Christ, 2584 S. Business 31 Peru, IN. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 10:00 A.M., also at First Church of Christ. Evangelist Shane Capps will be officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to First Church of Christ.
