Charles Adam Hall 66 of Marion died peacefully Saturday June 25, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness.

Charles was an US Army veteran from 1973-1976 and was Payroll Data Entry and Computer Programmer from 1977 to 2014.  He had been employed by Conrail, Superior Supply Janitorial Service, Freel and Mason Pharmacy, HiWay Dispatch Trucking Company, United Cartage Trucking Company, Mid-Indiana Transportation Experts, he was a Math Tutor at IVY Tech College, Marion, IN and had worked at the Chronicle-Tribune Newspaper helping in the office and paper delivery.

Chuck was a graduate of Woodstock High School, Woodstock, India and graduated from Hiram College, in 1972 with a Bachelors’ of Science Degree.

He was an active member and Treasurer of H.E.A.L. (Healthy Environment For All People.)  He was a Mensa, scoring in the 98th percentile in Math.  He served as a Deacon and Usher at First Christian Church, Marion, IN

He was the son of Missionaries in India and was born in Woodstock, India the son of Rev. Keith Hall and Rev. Virginia (Bevan) Hall born August 6, 1949.

He married his wife of 36 years, Nancy Dahl June 7, 1980 at Niles, Michigan, she survives.

Also surviving is a son Loren Hall, Marion, IN  Brother, David (Andrea) Hall, London, England  Sister, Carol (Roger) Hoge, Prince Edward Island, Canada.  Nieces; Erin Hoge (Sebastian) Amyot, Quebec, Canada  Emily Hoge, Montreal, Canada  Sarah (Dick) Hall, San Jose’, California   Ashley Dahl, Grandville, MI and Lindsey Dahl, Grandville, MI.  Nephews; Jonathan Hoge, Moncton, New Brunswick,  Dorian (Rochell Reynolds) Hoge, Manitoba, Canada  Adrian Hall, Waterloo, Ontario  and Quinn Dahl, Hudsonville, MI

He was preceded in death by brother; Bevan Hall and sister-in-law; Vanessa Perry Hall.

Memorial service for Charles will be at 4:00 PM Friday July 8, 2016 with Pastor Jim Sonnefield officiating at College Park Chapel Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 4601 S. Western Ave., Marion, IN 46953 where the family will receive friends from 2-4 PM.
