Bryce Anthony Dallas Deeter, 13, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017, after injuries sustained from an accident. Bryce was born on October 14, 2003 in Anderson, Indiana to Tyrone “Ty” Deeter and Rachel (Reno) Deeter. He attended Madison-Grant Junior High School, Fairmount, Indiana where he was a 7th grader. Bryce was respectful and kind and enjoyed playing football, baseball, basketball, and video games. He gave up video games when he met and fell in love with his girlfriend, Alana. Bryce was very courteous and would always warm up the car for his grandma, Ronnietta, in the winter. He was sweet kid who always saw the good in people and motivated them to be better. He enjoyed riding hoverboards and jumping over things. He didn’t like to be the center of attention and he could always admit when he was wrong and had no problem apologizing.
Bryce is survived by his parents, Ty and Rachel; 6 brothers, Austin (Macey) Reno and Tyler Deeter, both of Fairmount, IN, Darrin and Daulton Asher, both of Somerset,KY, and Dylan Asher and Dreydon Mays, both of KY; sister, Serenity Deeter, Fairmount, IN; step-mom Jennifer Asher, KY; 3 grandmothers, Ronnietta Reno, Fairmount, IN, Beth (Mike Sosh) Brown, Jonesboro, IN, and Janice Burton; great grandfather Paul Hazelwood; aunt Margie Burton; 2 uncles, Josh (Heather) Reno and Chris (Page) Deeter; 2 nieces, Addison Cox and Addilyn Eakins; 2 nephews, Blaine Reno and Brantley Mechling; 7 special cousins, Morgan and Maya Reno, Jacolby and Rylan Deeter, Haley, Hannah, and Hayden Sneed; brother Darrell Vetor; girlfriend Alana Vaughn; several great aunts and uncles and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles “Doug” Reno, great grandmother Helen Hazelwood, and great grandparents Frank and Phyllis Burton and Margaret and Charles Reno.
A candlelight vigil will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 8:00 pm at the Playacres Park Pavilion, Fairmount, Indiana.
Arrangements for Bryce have been entrusted to Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services Fairmount Chapel, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, IN, where a visitation will be held on Thursday June 1, 2017, from 3:00 – 7:00 pm. A funeral service celebrating Bryce’s life will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Amber Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana.
Contributions made in memory of Bryce can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
