Brian M. Houser, 55 of Huntington passed away at 12:05 pm on Monday, March 28, 2016 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice in Fort Wayne. Brian was a 1979 graduate of Huntington North High School. He had worked at PHD in Huntington for 29 years. He grew up on a farm and always had a passion for farming. He was a member of the Indiana Bass Master’s for 23 years. He was an avid Colts fan, he loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing and later in life he enjoyed gardening. Brian was a very dedicated family man; he loved everything patriotic and loved his country.
He was born on December 17, 1960 in Huntington, the son of Hubert and Dorothy (Hanauer) Houser.
He was united in marriage to Julie Stapleton on June 29, 1985 in Huntington. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include two sons: Cory Houser of Huntington; Seth Houser of Fort Wayne; a grandson: Landon Houser of Fort Wayne and his step-mother: Maureen Houser of Huntington.
His parents: Hubert and Dorothy Houser preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 5:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Ray Seilhamer officiating.
Interment will be at the Clear Creek Cemetery.
