Bonnie Jean Tucker, 82, of rural Lagro, Indiana, died at 11:15 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She was born June 21, 1934 in Kokomo, Indiana to William Carl Miller and Wanda (Crume) Yentes.

Bonnie married Larry Carsten, he died October 28, 2005; she then married Charles “Charlie” Tucker. She retired from General Tire in Wabash after 20 years, and also worked in the meat department at Marsh & LoBill Supermarkets in Wabash. She was a member of Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church. Bonnie enjoyed baking, knitting, camping, and spending time with her family.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Charles “Charlie” Tucker of Lagro, seven children, Janet (John) Parke of Richvalley, Indiana, Cindy Maggart of Wabash, Jim Aust of Fishers, Indiana, Mike Aust of Wabash, Candi (Dave) Cummings of North Manchester, Indiana, Kathy (Kenny) Williams of Wabash, and Ronda(Randall) Anderson of Virginia, her sister, Marilyn (James) Simpson, of Wabash, 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. Services and burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash, at a later date.

Preferred memorial is to Bonnie’s family, for expenses.
