Betty Lu Glass, 91, of Fort Wayne, IN, and formerly of Huntington, IN, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at 7:20 p.m. at Englewood Health & Rehab, Fort Wayne, IN.
Betty was born April 16, 1925, in Shelbyville, IN, to John and Elizabeth (Dewey) Scudder. Her parents preceded her in death. She married Bradley S. Glass and he preceded her in death in 1968.
Betty worked at Our Sunday Visitor and Hunckler Products and then she worked in Fort Wayne as an in home caregiver. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Huntington, IN.
Betty is survived by one son, Bradley (Mary) Glass, Fort Wayne, IN; three grandchildren, Zachary (Becca) Glass, Kelly Glass, and Alex (Holly) Glass; four great-grandchildren, Corbin, Hunter, Zaden and Elise Glass.
Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her 15 brothers and sisters.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 860 Cherry Street, Huntington, IN, with Father Silvino Ndayambaje presiding.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association and/or Masses in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Huntington, IN.
