Bettie K. Stensel, 92, a lifetime resident of Huntington County, IN, passed away at 1:25 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Parkview Huntington Hospital in Huntington, IN. She was born on Tuesday, April 29, 1924, in Huntington County, IN. She married Harold E. Stensel on Tuesday, July 2, 1946 in Huntington, he passed away on February 17, 2011. Bettie was a graduate of Township High School in Huntington. She attended St. Peters First Community Church in Huntington, where she had been church secretary for 36 years. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, sewing and ceramics.
Loving survivors include: Nephew – Chris Bechtold, Greensburg, IN, Niece – Hutchison, Alvin, TX, Special Friend – Jane Garrison, Warren, IN and Sister-in-law – Helen Bechtold, Warren, IN.
She was preceded in death by her: Parents- William “Bill” & Minnie Barnes and Husband – Harold E. Stensel.
A private graveside service will take place at Springhill Cemetery in Warren, IN.
