Audrey L. Lehman, age 98, of Huntington, went to be with the Lord, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday October 15 at 12:18 am at Tipton Place, Huntington. She worked alongside her husband at Lehman Floor covering and enjoyed crossword puzzles, sewing and music. She also loved flowers, gardening and most of all her family.
Audrey was born February 9, 1918, in Huntington, the daughter of Charles and Maisie (Ormsby) Gooley. On March 18, 1935 she married her beloved husband of 74years Carl A. Lehman in Huntington and he passed away July 20,2009. She is survived by a daughter Janis (Jack) Davis of Huntington, 2 granddaughters Julie Davis of Huntington and Jeana (Jeff) Rohrabaugh of Huntington, a grandson Jeff (Jami) Davis of Ashville, NC, 9 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, and a brother Glen Gooley of Huntington. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers Loren Gooley, Edger Gooley, Robert Gooley, and Eugene Gooley and a sister Mary Lancaster.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 18 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Deal-Rice Funeral Home-Huntington Chapel and one hour prior to the Wednesday, October 19 at 11:00 am funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
