Alice Faye Stewart, 73, Peru, graduated to heaven, 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Life Care Center IN Rochester.

Faye was born January 24, 1944 in Peru, Indiana.

Faye went to be with our heavenly father Tuesday evening surrounded by her loving family.

In her younger years, Faye worked at Miller’s Merry Manor in Peru as a CNA. She loved to talk about Jesus, travel with family, mushroom hunt, fish and camp. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and would rescue any animal she came across.

Faye is survived by two sisters, Charlene Wright, Denver and Darlene Hoyle, Peru.

Jesus also blessed her with a full family. Brenda Rose, Peru, Dorothy Booth, Peru, Jeff Davis and wife Julie, Noblesville, Wayne Stewart, Peru James Stewart and wife Aimee,  Rochester, Sam Smith and wife Jamie, Fishers.  She is also survived by her life partner Nathan Townsend, Peru, 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Smith, Peru, brother Donnie Sparks, Peru, and her parents Omer and Dorothy Sparks, Peru.

“Thank you for being the best mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. You gave us everything and ask for nothing.”

A celebration of life will be held on Friday the 24th of March from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at New Life Church,  40 West 50 North in Rochester Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to New Life Church in the name of James and Aimee Stewart for Missions.
