Virginia “Gini” J. Pearson, 76, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at 9:30 a.m. at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice, Fort Wayne, IN.
Mrs. Pearson was born on August 16, 1940, in Sullivan, IN. Her parents were Keith and Vivian Jeanne (Wilson) Curry. Her parents preceded her in death. She married Donn L. Godfrey in September 1957. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1989. Virginia married Ronald (Curly) Pearson on December 14, 1996. He survives and resides in Huntington, IN.
Virginia graduated from North Central High School. She was a secretary for many years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, VFW Aux Post 2689 and the American Legion all of Huntington, IN
Along with her husband, Virginia is survived by one son, Brett A. (Cyndi) Godfrey, Huntington, IN; two daughters, Gay L. (Scott) Phillips, Huntington, IN and Robin R. (Rick) Bauer, Huntington, IN; one step-son, Ron N. (Vicki) Pearson, Huntington, IN and one step-daughter, Kim (Dominic) Phan, Atlanta, IN.
Virginia is also survived by one brother, Ron “Butch” (Janie) Curry, Booneville, IN; one brother-in-law, Neale J. Pearson, Lubbock, TX, and one sister-in-law, Regina Sauder, Huntington, IN and 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A Private Service will be held at a later date.
