2016 Cole Porter Scholarship Winners Announced

PERU,Indiana – Wednesday, the Cole Porter Scholarship was awarded in the Peru High School auditorium. Winner of the $10,000 Scholarship went to Peru’s Avery Jackson. Miss Jackson was very excited in receiving the award.

Avery Jackson will going to Purdue University Double Major in Industrial Product Design and Theatre. Runner-up of the $7500 Scholarship went to Maconaquah’s Jacob Feazel. Jacob will be going to IUK to major in animation side of things technology art. The two alternates are Jenny Bowman of Maconaquah and Aubrey Jones of Peru. Joey Kubesch says her father started this Scholarship in 1967.

The Cole Porter Scholarship Coordinator is Mary Ann Savage. Congratulations to Avery Jackson, the Winner, Jacob Feazel,the runner-up and to the two alternates, Jenny Bowman and Aubrey Jones, on a Job Well Done.
