NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – On Saturday, July 22, around 2:20pm the North Manchester Dispatch received a call saying a vehicle had struck a building. Taylor A. Tousley, 23, North Manchester lost control of her vehicle in the 1000 block of SR 114 West crashing into Shepherd’s Chevrolet. Tousley was westbound on 114 when she went over the curb striking a tent pole, a vehicle, the cement base of Shepherd’s Chevrolet sign, a decorative rock, which vaulted the vehicle into the building. Debris from the vehicle flew through the air shattering the entry door into Shepherd’s showroom. Tousley was cited for driving while suspended and no proof of financial responsibility. Investigating officers were Sgt. Greg Tomlinson, Officer Isaac Adams and Officer Parker Stouffer. North Manchester police were assisted by North Manchester Fire Department and Parkview Ambulance Service.
