“We’re thrilled to reconnect with the community as we kick off the 17th season of the Downtown Wabash Farmers Market,” says Downtown Wabash, Inc. Farmers Market Manager, Carly Hawkins. “I’m excited to welcome several new vendors to join the market. The enthusiasm we’ve seen this year means a lot to our organization.”

More than 40 vendors participating in the 2024 market season will feature handmade, homemade and homegrown items including fresh produce, meats, dairy products, homegoods, baked items, plants and artisan wares. Shoppers are invited to experience festivities beyond vendor offerings, such as live music, food trucks, Kids Corner activities, demonstrations and more. The family-friendly atmosphere includes every member of the family, as pets are always welcome.

The market also offers Double Up Indiana Programming for SNAP customers, offering free fruits and vegetables when they use their SNAP/EBT card. For each $1 spent in SNAP at the market, customers earn $1 in Double Up incentives to buy fruits and vegetables at the same market. Each customer is limited to earning $20 per day in Double Up incentives. These programs play a crucial role in fostering inclusivity and accessibility within the community.
