Wilma G. Schwyn, 92, Alexandria, passed away at 1:45 pm on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Alexandria Care Center. She was born in Farmland, Indiana, on Thursday, June 18, 1931, to Chester and Ina King. She married Ray Schwyn, who preceded her in death.
Wilma graduated from Farmland High School.
Wilma worked as a warehouse worker for 22 years with Pierce Governor- Upland. She had a great sense of humor and loved spending time with family. She had a love for Jesus and loved watching gospel on TV. She played BINGO and liked going to McDonald’s for coffee with friends.
Wilma is survived by eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Ina King; two sons, Michael Schwyn Sr. and Gary Schwyn; ten brothers and sisters; and grandson, Aaron Schwyn..
At Wilma’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
