William Ray Cruea, II

William Ray Cruea, II, 60, Marion, passed away at 9:07 pm on Saturday, December 4, 2021. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Wednesday, October 25, 1961, to William and Maudie (Sluder) Cruea.

Will graduated from Marion High School and worked at Hartson-Kennedy Countertops. He was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God and the UAW through Chrysler. He was a sports fanatic and loved the Colts, IU Basketball, Notre Dame, and Chicago Bulls, especially Michael Jordan. He was a thrill-seeker who enjoyed Cedar Point and riding roller coasters. He was an excellent musician and guitar player and passed that love on by giving lessons and even played in a Christian group called Skybound when he was younger. He enjoyed being involved in the churches he attended. He served people by painting and mowing and absolutely loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his parents, William Ray and Maudie Cruea; daughters, Brittani (Ryan) Horner of Kokomo, Brooke (Paul) Cruea-Beverly of Kokomo; grandchildren, Gatlen, Ryalynn, Hagan, Larissa, Jordyn; and brothers, James K. (Allison) Cruea and Timothy J. Cruea.

The family will receive visitors from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Lighthouse Assembly of God, 5909 S. Jay St., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Will’s life will begin at 6:00 pm with Rev. Jerry Gallaway officiating.
