William H. “Fido” Phillips, Jr., age 65 of Gas City passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 in his home.
William was born January 31, 1955 in Marion, Indiana the son of the late William H. Phillips, Sr. and Virginia Ruth (Foster) Phillips. He worked in maintenance at Marion Community Schools. He married Susanna Miller, and she preceded him in death on December 28, 2020.
He enjoyed cat fishing anywhere north of the Mississinewa dam and hunting rabbits. He also enjoyed going to air shows and was a regular at the Grissom Air Show.
He is survived by a son, Eric (Ann) Phillips of Marion. He was also preceded in death by a son, William F. Phillips III.
As per William’s wishes cremation will take place with no funeral services. Arrangements are entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
