William “Bill” D. Watson, 68, of Marion, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, at Marion General Hospital. He was born in Marion on January 1, 1953, to Fred and Freda (Todd) Watson.
Bill graduated from Marion High School in 1971 and received his Master of Science and Master of Art degrees from Ball State University. He was a very artistic man who enjoyed drawing and painting.
He is survived by his sister-in-law, Cathy Byrd of Marion; nephews, Eric Watson of GA and Fredrick Watson of Gas City; cousin, Barbara Maples of TN; plus many more nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Fred Watson, Jr.; and sister, Marilee Watson.
At Bill’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
