Wabash Police Join Statewide Patrols Looking For Impaired Drivers

WABASH,Indiana — Wabash City Police are again participating with 250 law enforcement agencies throughout the state in search of impaired and dangerous drivers. From March 04, through March 27 officers will be working overtime to identify impaired motorists. In addition to impaired drivers, officers are always on the lookout for other traffic violations such as aggressive drivers and unrestrained motorists. Corporal Chad Galligan reminds motorists “if you plan to drink, designate a sober driver.” Impaired driving is one of the nation’s most deadly problems. Wabash City Police urge citizens to report an impaired driver on the road by calling your local law enforcement or 911.
