Vicki J. Mills, 43, Gas City, lost her battle with cancer at 10:30 am on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Friday, June 29, 1979, to Theodore and Sandra (Shoaf) Mills.
Vicki graduated from Mississinewa High School worked as a receptionist at Hoosier Jiffy Print. She was a member of Bethel Worship Center where she was baptized September of 2022. She loved sunflowers, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and butterflies. Most of all, she loved her kids and her kid’s friends. She was very loving and always put others before herself.
Survivors include her son, Dillon (Chloe Cooley) Cole of Gas City; daughters, Icelie Cole of Gas City, Athea Mills of Gas City, sisters, Amanda (Dominick) Bowlds of Gas City, Valerie (Shawn) Smith of Gas City, LaVonna Felver of Van Buren; brother, Mike (Kelly) Ritter of OH; best friend, Brandi Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Sandra Mills; and fiancé, Nathan Sutton.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral and Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Vicki’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Mike Henson, Jr. officiating.
