Twyla June Craig, 86, Marion, passed away at Woodlands Healthcare Center in Shenandoah, Texas, on Thursday, April 5, 2018. She was born in Grant County, Indiana, on April 25, 1931, and was the daughter of William Carl and Georgia (Miller) Nuss. She married Bob Craig on November 24, 1954, and they shared 56 years together until he passed on May 17, 2011.
Twyla worked for 20 years as a secretary at Bell Fibre. She was previously employed at American Security and Canton Floral. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and AARP.
She is survived by her son, Bradley Craig, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Carla (Jonathan) Craig, Houston, Texas; sister, Margaret (Ray) Hartley, Marion; grandchildren, Kimberly Summers, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jordan Dailey, Houston, Texas; and great-grandchildren, R.J. Bonfitto, Logan Summers, and Drakus Summers.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Brian Craig; grandson, Robby Bonfitto; sisters, Alice West and Bonita Clester; and brother, Byron Erle Nuss.
The family will receive visitors from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Services to celebrate Twyla’s life will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the funeral home with Rev. Irv Behn officiating. A committal service will be held at Grant Memorial Park at a later date.
