Tony Alan Millspaugh

Tony Alan Millspaugh, 69, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 9:45 am, Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Timbercrest Crestwood Unit in North Manchester, Indiana.  He was born on March 6, 1954, in Marion, Indiana, to Fred and Betty Jean (Hunt) Millspaugh.

Tony was a 1972 graduate of Marion High School, and attended Franklin College and Indiana Wesleyan University. He married Donna Hoos at the St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Marion on June 3, 1978. Tony was a retired banker, and worked at Frances Slocum Bank/First Merchants Bank, and Crossroads Bank, both of Wabash, for a total of 38 years. He also was an auctioneer. He was a member of the Indiana Bankers Association and a former member of the Wabash Rotary Club. Tony’s passion was singing, and he belonged to the Barbershop Harmony Society. He was an avid golfer, but most importantly his family meant everything to him.    

He is survived by his wife, Donna Millspaugh of Wabash; three daughters, Lauren Millspaugh and Whitney (Reece McDonald) Millspaugh, both of Wabash, and Ashley (Blake Byerly) Texeira of Huntington, Indiana; five grandchildren, Dawson Texeira, Hudson Texeira, Kate Byerly, Carson Byerly, and Bailee Byerly, all of Huntington; mother, Betty Jean (Hunt) Millspaugh of North Vernon, Indiana; sisters and brothers, Debra (Medardo “Matt”) Perez of McAllen, Texas, Stacy (Mike) Marley of LaFontaine, Indiana, Scott (Gloria) Millspaugh of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Matt (Lisa Singleton) Millspaugh of North Vernon, Indiana.  He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Millspaugh, and his daughter, Alyson Millspaugh.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Friday, December 1, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Solomon David officiating. Friends may call 2-8 pm Thursday, and 9:30-10:30 am Friday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are Rock Steady Boxing or Timbercrest Crestwood Unit.
