Timothy Phillips

Timothy Phillips, 61, of Warren, passed away at 10:46 am on Saturday, January 13, 2024, in his home. He was born in Hardinsburg, Kentucky, on Friday, March 30, 1962, to Junior Phillips and Arzena (Goodman) Goens.  On July 4, 2009, he married his loving wife, Marie (Bair) Plasterer Phillips, who survives.

Timothy was a truck driver with Central Waste.  He loved going to church and was a faithful attender at Lighthouse Baptist Church, where he was a member.

Timothy loved riding his Harley-Davidson, and he constantly hung out with his biker friends. He loved working on motors, gardening, collecting antique garden tractors, riding horses, and especially spending time with his family. Every year they would take trips to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  Timothy also enjoyed driving around handing out flags to police officers.  He never met a stranger and knew someone everywhere he went.  

Timothy is also survived by his daughter, Lindsay Phillips of Alpharetta, GA; step-children, DeVon (Kayla) Walker, DaVina (Nathan) Sharrard, and DaKota (Ava) Plasterer; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Junior Phillips; mother, Arzena Goens; step-father, James Goens; sister, Annette Phillips; and brother, Wesley Phillips.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 7:00 pm on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Marion Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2445 W. Kem Rd., Marion, IN.  Pastor Ronald Hon will be officiating.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
