Diana Lynn Oaks

Diana Lynn Oaks, 74, of La Fontaine, passed away at 11:40 pm on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Rolling Meadows Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Kokomo, Indiana, on Tuesday, November 1, 1949, to Max and Mary (Duncan) Pattison. On July 31, 1971, she married Leroy Oaks who survives.

Diana graduated from Oak Hill High School in1969. Diana had retired from Elsa Limited in Elwood after several years of service. She had previously worked at United Technologies in Wabash. She was a member of Holiness House of Prayer in Marion. Diana enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis, and loved to go shopping, especially for Christmas. Diana also enjoyed traveling and going to Tennessee to see the mountains. She loved animals and enjoyed horseback riding.

Survivors include her daughter, Suzette (Jeff) Morton of Fishers; granddaughters, Chelsea (Matthew) Dean of Avon, Katie Oaks of Decatur; grandsons, Brant Morton of Carmel, William Oaks of Decatur, Tanner Martin of Somerset; great-grandson, Wesley; great-granddaughter, Stevie; brother, Ronnie (Juanita) Bevington; sisters-in-law, Mary Bevington, Jackie (Ron) Secrest, Rhonda Ray; several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Mary Pattison; sons, Chris Oaks, Adam Oaks; brothers, Buck Bevington, Ben Pattison; sister, Donna King; and her beloved dogs, Bo and Wilson.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a Funeral Service to celebrate Diana’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating.
