Thomas Tré Michael “Tré” Reed, 21, Wabash, passed away at 8:34 a.m. on Sunday, April 29, 2018, after injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Marion on March 3, 1997, and was the son of James Reed and Alicia Holmes.
Tré worked at Metal Source in Wabash, where he was a furnace operator. He was a very talented baseball player, liked cars, four wheelers, dirt bikes, UFC, and MMA. He was known for his MMA skills and trained at MMA Minded in Wabash. Tré also enjoyed music and movies, especially Happy Gilmore. Most of all, Tré loved his family and his son, who will miss him greatly.
Survivors include his mother, Alicia (Jeremy Bartrum) Holmes, Upland; father, James Reed, Enterprise, Alabama; son, Jase Michael Reed; girlfriend, Dharma Klug, Wabash; sisters, Shae Reed and Torrance Farmer; brothers, Ethan Farmer and Blake Cain; step-sisters, Whitney Hall, Emily Hall, and Samantha Hall; maternal grandmother, Martel (Javier) Marin; maternal grandfather, Keith (Tracey) Holmes; paternal grandfather, John Reed; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends, and acquaintances.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandmother, Betty Lou (Nelson) Lee, and cousin, Jordan Laute.
The family will receive visitors from 12 noon to 1 p.m. with Tré’s funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN. Pastor Ralph Johnson will be officiating with burial following at Grant Memorial Park.
