Thelma E. Fellers, 92, of Geneva, IN, passed away at 4:51 AM on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Chalet Village Health & Rehabilitation in Berne, IN. She was born on Tuesday, September 22, 1925. She married Harold Vernon Fellers on May 29, 1944; he passed away on September 11, 1988. Thelma was a high school graduate of Hartford Twp. Schools, just outside of Linn Grove. She was a member of the Geneva Church of the Nazarene. She had worked at the Pioneer Restaurant, and the Decatur Glove Factory. She had lived in Florida for 20 years where she enjoyed the weather and had started a few businesses of her own. Thelma loved crocheting, and knitting in her free time and also liked watching Westerns especially ones with John Wayne.
Loving Survivors Include her Son – Clarence Fellers, Berne, IN, Son in Law – Russell Galloway, Geneva, IN, 9 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, and 22 Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents- Herbert & Janie Arnold, Husband – Harold Vernon Fellers, Daughter – Darlene Galloway, Son – Lester Fellers, Brother – Kenneth Arnold, and Sisters – Letha Arnold, & Treva Arnold.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home 100 N Washington Street Geneva on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, July 21, 2018.
A service to celebrate Thelma’s life will be at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 21, 2018 with Rev. Brenda Haddix officiating. Interment will follow in the West Lawn Cemetery in Geneva.
