Terri Lynn Blackburn, 53 of Fairmount, Indiana died Friday, November 30, 2018 at Wesleyan Health and Rehabilitation Center after a courageous battle with cancer
Terri Lynn was born on August 4, 1965 in Marion, Indiana, daughter of the late Melvin R. Blackburn and Pauline M. (Ancil) Blackburn. Terri graduated from Madison Grant in 1983. She attended North Dakota State University and later received her accounting degree from Indiana University Kokomo Campus. Terri had worked for Citizens Exchange Bank in Fairmount and most recently as the accounts receivable manager at Tri-Green in Swayzee.
Terri Lynn is survived by her mother, Pauline Blackburn of Fairmount; two children; Amanda Carey and Marshall Carey both of Fairmount; siblings; Melvin (Debbie) Blackburn, Paoli, Jeff (Lori) Blackburn, Greensburg, KS, and Randy (Lynn) Blackburn, Hartford City; aunts and uncles; Albert and Bonnie Holloway, Pat and Bill Holder, Jim and Diane Ancil, Jim Blackburn, Linda Burgan, Brenda Blackburn, and Ourka Blackburn. Also surviving are 2 nieces, a nephew, and several cousins
She was preceded in death by her father and nephew Geoffrey Kirk Blackburn.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 6 PM with Terri Lynn’s brother Pastor Jeff Blackburn officiating. A gathering of friends will be one hour prior to the service from 5-6 PM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice in care of the funeral home.
