Teresa Alice Bockover, age 50 of Marion passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Marion Health in Marion.
Teresa was born on September 15, 1971 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late David Yeager and Sandra Yeager. Her mother survives. She married David “Allen” Bockover on July 10, 1999, and he survives. She was a custodian at Indiana Wesleyan University for 18 years.
She enjoyed spending time on the pontoon with her family, going mushroom hunting, fishing, taking trike rides with her husband, or even just sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds. She was always the life of the party, bringing everyone together with her big beautiful smile. Teresa always made the best out of any situation, including her eight year fight against breast cancer. She was the best wife, mother, daughter and sister anyone could have asked for and she will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Bockover; her mother, Sandra Yeager; father-in-law, David Bockover; a son, Dustin David Allen (Tyanne) Bockover; a daughter, Paige Nichole Lee Bockover (Dillon Thompson); brothers, Brian (Debbie) Yeager and Bobby (Marsha) Yeager; brother-in-law, Jimmy “Buddy” (Crystal) Bockover; sister, Linda (Mike) Johns; sister-in-law, Elicia Bockover; grandchildren, Chloe Thompson, Kade Thompson and Laine Bockover; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Lisa, Kendra, Cassie, Aubrey, Nikki, Lindsey, Kayla, Jamie, Joshua, and Raiden and many great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Yeager; mother-in-law, Rosa Bockover, a grandson, Hunter Thompson, and sister-in-law, Barbara Bockover.
Visitation for friends and family will take place from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
Visitation will also take place from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022 in the funeral home. Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Horsman officiating. Burial will follow in Estates of Serenity Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
