Stonger Accused Of Exchanging Pills For Sex

INDIANAPOLIS,Indiana – Monday, a local 68-year-old doctor was arrested on six counts for allegedly dealing prescription drugs for sex at the Pain Management Center offices in Peru, Bloomington and Greenwood. Dr. Tristan V. Stonger was arrested by the Indiana Drug Enforcement Administration and booked into the Marion County Jail in Indianapolis.

Judge Shatrese Flowers in Indianapolis set bond for $100,000 cash and a $500,00 surety bond. Dr. Stonger is scheduled to appear on Thursday before the Professional Licensing Agency Board to recommend Dr. Dr. Stonger’s license to be suspended. Miami County Prosecutor Bruce Embrey is concerned about the patients.

Law enforcement officials said allegations of overdosing, mis-prescribing and over-prescribing had led to the investigation into Stonger’s practices.
