PERU,Indiana – A Peru man has been charged with two counts of child molestation as a Level 4 felony and one count of performing sexual conduct as a Level 6 felony. A week-long investigation by the Peru Police Department began when they received a call on April 2nd of possible child abuse. On Friday, Rodney L. Goshert, last known address 311 Tyler Avenue in Peru, was arrested after police say he performed sexual conduct on a 10-year-old victim. Police allege that Goshert knew the victim.
